Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- The application form is available in the case of the original applicant. Provide proof of alteration in address or other specifics.

UIDAI lets people with Aadhaar cardsto change their address without the need for documents. Aadhaar cardholders could alter their address in the event that they don't have the proof of identity.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily stopped a crucial feature which lets you change the address of your Aadhaar card's address, without certificate of address.
UIDAI lets people with Aadhaar cards to change their address with no need for any documents. Aadhaar cardholders can change their address, if they are able to consent to the authentication of the address verifier. An address verifier could be a relative, friend or landlord who will permit the Aadhaar card user to utilize their address as proof.
UIDAI is now stopping this feature. UIDAI provided a response to an Card Holder by tweeting that it is no longer possible to update the address on Aadhaar Card through the Address Validation Letter has been ended. UIDAI has asked to the Aadhaar provider to alert users to update their address by using another acceptable PoA document.

Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving licence
Water Bill (not more than 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older than 3 months)
Summary of Credit Card (not more than 3 months old).
Signed letter with photo from registered company on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Documents of their parents (in instances of minors)
Central/ State Govt. Issued an allotment letter to accommodate. (Not longer than three years)
Bhamashah Card/Jan Aadhaar card issued Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Of Institution of a recognized shelter orphanages, etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
